Library
The parking lot beside the Fuquay-Varina Library is filled by 10:30 any Tuesday morning. That's when this branch of the Wake County Library System holds Toddler Day, followed by Pre-school Day at 11:30 a.m., two of its many innovative programs for children and the entire family.
Located at 133 South Fuquay Avenue in downtown, the library hours are Monday - Thursday 10 to 8, Fridays 10 to 6, and Saturdays 10 to 2 . Call 557-2788 for more information.
Triangle Colleges and Universities
Fuquay-Varina is conveniently accessible to all 10 Triangle colleges and universities, including major institutions like North Carolina State University, Duke University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill . Only 8 miles from Fuquay-Varina is Wake Technical Community College offering 109 different curriculums and awards certificates, diplomas and associate degrees.
